What a beautiful day that the Lord has made for us. It has been unusually windy today. Gabe has enjoyed riding in his motorized truck today. I love to sit on the porch and watch him round the corner in his little truck, with his blonde hair blowing in the wind. This afternoon, I noticed that it was taking him a while to come back around the house. I sat on the porch as long as I could, and finally made my way around to see if he was okay. I rounded the house and found him with the hood up on his truck. He had a screw-driver in his hand and his head was buried in "working" on something. When I asked him what he was doing (holding back my laughs), he said, "my tw-uck bwoke down and I'm twying to fix it." I then assisted him by replacing his battery(with his help). It is days like today that I know that I will be thankful that I jotted (or typed) down my thoughts. It seems like just yesterday that my oldest was riding around the yard like Gabe...wow, the older I get, the more I can relate to folks that always say, "It seems like just yesterday when mine were under-foot."
Happy Saturday
