Legologist

As I was busy working on alterations to costumes for the school play, Levi was equally as busy at his lil' table. Levi is very talented when it comes to any type of building or art type projects. As we were both working, he was sharing with me about how God had revealed some things to him in the scriptures this week. He said that he asked his teacher if he could share with the class what God had been showing him. Unfortunately, it did not work out today for him to expound the scriptures, due to tight scheduling in the last week of school, but I guess he needed to get it off his heart. He began to share with me about Phil. 4:13. I listened as he explained why we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. He was simultaneously finishing up his project that he had been working on (which was an amazing fighter plane built of Lego's) at his desk. In conclusion to his 5 minute message, he held up his creation and said, "You see mama, I could never have built this masterpiece if God had not given me the strength and knowledge to know how to assemble it"...I shook my head vigorously and said, Amen...you are right! I had done really well to stay serious through it all. Finally, he concluded with, "And you know mama, I feel that God may even allow me to one day do what I love for a living"... I said, "Oh, and what might that be?"... (thinking that he was getting ready to announce his call to preach)...He replied..."A Legologist"... I asked him where Legologist work and he told me that they work at Lego Land theme park or the Lego factories. I am just thinking that it will be so much fun to bring this archive up one day when he is grown.
 Oh, what joy children bring!!!
